FAWNOLOGY

Fawn® is  a Billboard  top  5 hit singer, songwriter,   recording artist, musician  and  composer   for  radio, club, film, television and commercials.   A  Berklee  College  of Music   Alumni ,  she  has   won multiple songwriting and music awards  and   has  worked   with several  different  Grammy, Oscar  and Emmy  winning artists. 

Fawn® is an award winning ASCAP singer, songwriter, composer, and recording artist who has shared the top of the Billboard Dance Charts with Lady GaGa , Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson with her song Wish U Love, reaching #6. The music video of the same song remained in the top 10 on MTV's LOGO Channel for 5 months and placed second only to Madonna in sales the first 2 months of its release. Written and performed by Fawn and produced by Chad Jack and Tim Letteer, Wish U Love charted at #5 on the Billboard Break out charts and made #142 for the Top 200 Hit Dance Songs. In 2016 two other songs written and performed by Fawn and produced by Digital Sixable placed in the Top 10 EDM chill out charts, Where Has Your Love Gone  and Solitude. 

 

Fawn has won four JPF Music awards. In 2020 she won for Best Dance Album Idiosyncratic and Best Dance Song for Small. And in 2009 for Best Dance Album "Body Soul and Mind" and Best Dance Song, "Wish You Love" with Hit Singer-Songwriter Vincent Covello from their group Body, Soul and Mind with their album of the same title, Body Soul and Mind and Best Dance Single for the original version of Fawn's song, Wish You Love . Fawn was nominated as a solo artist for Best Dance Single, Wish U Love for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards and she won the VH-1 Save The Music Song Of The Year for her EDM Trance song about racism,  Into The Light . Fawn won a Semi-Finalist position in 2015 for her dance song Miami (music co-written by Chad Jack) and in 2016 for her Holiday Classic ballad Christmas Time. In 2018 it was announced that Fawn won in the Special Song Category of the 19th Annual Great American Song Competition for her Halloween song Ghoulish Ghosts. Fawn won the Finalist position in the 20th. Annual Great American Song Competition for her Halloween song Monster House. Fawn was a finalist for the JPF Music Awards 2020 for Best Holiday album of the year, Angels We Have Heard On High  produced by Chad Jack and won Runner-up for Best Christmas Song, Christmas Time . Her other Christmas song  Ho Ho Ho It's A Holiday was also  nominated.  Fawn won the Finalist position for Best Alternative Song for Over  (music co-written with Danny McCarthy) from her album Electro album Idiosyncratic . She was also nominated for Best Dance song of the year from the same album for her songs Ashes (music co-written with KJ Sawka), Into Me  (music co-written with Danny McCarthy) and Solitude (music co-written with Danny McCarthy. 

 

Fawn's songs and voice can be heard in commercials, film and TV projects such as The Natalee Holloway Story, Nickelodeon's Hollywood Heights, The Young and The Restless, The Little Red Wagon, Spike Lee’s The Girl Is In Trouble, Guiding Light, Ugly Betty, Charlie's Angels , CSI Miami, Barbie, Ford, Lavazza Coffee, Mazda and Pontiac, Ponds, Target, to name a few. In February 2014 Fawn was the Cover Model of the Decade for the 10-year Anniversary issue of LIC Magazine. In December 2011 she was Cover Model of The Year, (as voted by readers for the entire year of cover models) and also appeared on the cover of the February 2011 LIC issue. Fawn modeled in the Old Hollywood Glamour Calendars for 5 consecutive years 2008-2012. She is seen in Ellen Lavinthal's Animal Alliance Charity Coffee Table Book, 'A Day In My Shoes Pumps and Pups' alongside other well-known entertainment industry animal lovers Diane Warren and Cindy Landon. In 2013 she won the EOTM award for Best Female Artist and was nominated for Best Music Video and Best Pop Song for Wish U Love. In the same year, she became a published author with The Jackalope and The Jellybean, a short story about Ronald Reagan and his Jackalope in the Anthology Unnatural Tales Of The Jackalope. Fall 2013, Fawn re-released her hit single Wish U Love, her Christian single Call On Me and Fallin In Love (a song she wrote as a teenager). For the past 9 years, her original Christmas and Hanukkah songs have been chosen to be part of Holiday Magic, a Holiday compilation album distributed each winter season to children's hospitals all over the world. Fawn recorded her holiday songs in Spanish, French, Yiddish and English. Fawn released her the Holiday albums Angels We Have Heard On High, Noel, Monster House and Ghoulish Ghosts and her first Piano based compositions album, Remnants, through Stonedef Records, Inc.

 

In 2020 Fawn released her album, Airwaves Volume III, a collection of 10 songs recorded within 1-4 hours under deadlines for commercials, TV and film projects.  This is the third Airwaves album seriesAirwaves Vol. I  , and Airwaves Vol II with Vincent Covello.

Fawn released her song, Wait For The Sun" Black Lives Matter edition music video on July 23, 2020. The music video includes Debra WilsonJoanna Cassidy, Shanice Wilson, Judy Tenuta, Kate Linder, Jason Graae, Brooke Lewis Bellas, Christy McGinity, Molly Hopkins, Calista Carradine, Jay Tavare, Marlon Saunders, Martin Blockson, Tim 'Tio'Owens, Juliette Hagerman, Tamechi, Valerie Watson, Hunter Payton Mendoza, Cher Rue, Leo Palisano and many others.  Fawn is back in the recording studio working on some new projects with another album due for release in 2021. In addition to commercials, jingles, film television, radio and children's hospitals, her songs can be heard on a variety of compilation albums such as Armada Sunset, Silk Sofa, Proton, Hades, Stonedef Records and several others.

 

EARLIER YEARS

Fawn began her entertainment industry career at the ripe age of 6 months old, starring in several National TV Commercials. By the time she was 10 years old, she was doing voice-overs, singing commercials and touring with the world renown children's Chorale directed by 2 time Grammy winner Duain Wolfe, as well as training with famed pro dancer Gwen Bowen in ballet, pointe, modern, tap, african, hip hop, break dancing and jazz. As a young teenager, her first song Oneday was produced by BT, Brian Transeau (Film Composer for Monster/Fast and Furious) and released by Rick Watson and the Oneday Foundation. With all proceeds going to HIV/AIDS families and awareness for the cause. A substantial amount was raised, helping purchase and renovate a large home which serviced 12 states in the United States for all individuals and families in need of care. At age 14 Fawn worked with internationally known composer Jean Berger and highly acclaimed pianist Allen Hobbs, then continued her Operatic vocal solo work with Robert Lansing and Grammy-nominated conductor Paul Salamunovich. She then went on a summer tour in Japan, Hong Kong and China starring in the musical Oklahoma! before attending Boston Conservatory Of Dance and Berklee College Of Music in Boston. While at Berklee she performed to sold-out audiences and won several prestigious songwriting awards, including the top song of the year award for her song "Just Look At Us Now". She rehearsed for her overseas Songbird tour, then moved out to Los Angeles.
